About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Amelia, Ohio. You will work alongside full-time actuarial analysts to support core business activities and decision-making processes. This role is designed for students who want to connect classroom theory with real-world insurance data and analytical methods. You will be part of a hybrid work environment, with an expectation to be in the office approximately 40-50% of the time.
What you'll do#
- Clean and prepare data for actuarial analysis.
- Support standard actuarial analyses and indications.
- Complete analytical work using Excel.
- Use coding skills to improve or support analysis where helpful.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Rising Junior or Senior status at the time of the internship.
- At least one passed actuarial exam.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to projects.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
