About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within our Transportation Business Unit. You will work on live projects ranging from interstate systems to local municipal roads. We pair you with a manager and mentor to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world engineering.
What you'll do#
- Take on structural design assignments and increase your responsibilities over the summer.
- Assist technical staff with daily project tasks.
- Coordinate with project teams to meet client requirements and deliver services.
- Engage with senior leadership to gain a broader perspective of the organization.
- Participate in regular check-ins to receive feedback and guidance from your mentors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree or a related discipline at an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Strong technical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- Capability to work effectively within a team.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
