About the role#
ms consultants is hiring a Right-of-Way Intern for our Columbus, Ohio office. This is a full-time summer internship for 2027. You will work alongside a manager and mentor on projects related to your studies. This role involves both office tasks and fieldwork.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Acquisition Offer Packages and Title Reports.
- Review appraisals and right-of-way plans.
- Use software including Adobe PDF, Excel, Word, and GIS sites.
- Conduct fieldwork at various Ohio courthouses.
- Assist with owner negotiations.
- Travel to project sites for title research and acquisition offers with an Acquisition Agent or Project Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Completion of core coursework.
- Strong technical skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Reliable transportation for travel to field sites.
