About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work on live projects within our water resources team. You will work with a manager and mentor to apply your classroom knowledge to real design challenges. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support hydrologic, hydraulic, water quality, and geospatial evaluations.
- Conduct watershed and water quality assessments, including watershed planning and BMP prioritization.
- Assist with design efforts for water resources and site development projects.
- Help plan, design, and maintain stormwater infrastructure, BMPs, low impact development projects, and green infrastructure.
- Perform field work such as environmental sampling, parameter collection, stormwater BMP inspections, BMP retrofit assessments, and stream evaluations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an engineering degree program, specifically a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Completion of core coursework.
- Strong technical skills and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- A commitment to quality control.
