About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will work within the Transportation Business Unit on live projects. You will be paired with a manager and mentor to help apply your classroom learning to real projects. This role involves both office work and field inspections.
What you'll do#
- Work on live projects within the Transportation Business Unit.
- Support clients by solving design challenges.
- Perform field inspections that require out of town travel.
- Build your professional network.
- Demonstrate your functional and business capabilities through project work.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to perform field work, including climbing, working at heights, carrying gear, and working in hot weather.
- Strong technical skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- You are a fast learner who works well in a team.
- Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD is preferred.
