About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering intern to join our team in Plantation, Florida, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on mission-critical communication solutions, specifically focusing on the evaluation and modification of two-way mobile and portable products. This role requires you to work in small teams to analyze existing designs and implement performance enhancements that are cost-effective and manufacturable.
What you'll do#
- Support projects assigned by your team leader.
- Assist with the certification testing process for products.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer cases.
- Help define test plans and validation processes for components and radio certifications.
- Participate in radio system design tasks.
- Generate necessary documentation for your areas of responsibility.
- Use electronic equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power meters, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program for Electrical Engineering.
- Graduation date must be December 2026 or later.
- Basic knowledge of communication, digital systems, and RF systems.
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or an MS student with valid work authorization.
