About the role#
Motorola Solutions is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will join the RadioCentral Cloud Services team to help build and support mission-critical communication technologies. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chicago, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Develop and support capabilities within the RadioCentral Cloud Services team.
- Create new features using microservices and web applications.
- Work within a cloud-based architecture.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with team software development using Agile practices.
- Knowledge of microservices-based architecture and containerization.
- Web programming experience including Angular, JS, and Node.
- Understanding of security concepts such as authentication, access control, authorization, cryptography, and least privilege.
- Experience with cloud-based or embedded-computing software development.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess unrestricted US work authorization.
