About the role#
Moody Bible Institute is hiring temporary student phone operators to support the Fall Share radio campaign. This role involves answering incoming calls and processing donations from listeners. You will work in a student call center located on the 3rd floor of the Chapman Center. This is a paid, part-time position scheduled for October 6-10, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Answer phone calls from radio listeners.
- Accept donations during the campaign.
- Enter caller data into the computer system.
- Attend a mandatory paid training session during the week prior to the campaign.
What you'll need#
- Ability to speak clearly and maintain a courteous, polite tone on the phone.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows software, including basic web browsing and email.
- Skill in multitasking by talking to callers while typing data simultaneously.
- Manual dexterity for operating a standard computer mouse and keyboard.
- Ability to hear well and focus in a noisy environment.
- Vision that allows for working at a computer screen at standard resolution.

- Location: Illinois, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 (October 6-10).
- Schedule: Shifts are 4 hours daily from Wednesday through Friday and 3 hours on Saturday morning. The total commitment is approximately 20 hours for the week.
