About the role#
As a Plasma Science intern at Plasma and Reactive Gas Solutions, you will partner with the Advanced Technology Group to support research and development projects. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work with a multidisciplinary team to move new technology toward productization.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with individual contributors on their projects.
- Assemble and operate test fixtures and development prototypes.
- Collect and collate data from experiments.
- Present data to the development team, including your own observations and suggestions.
- Generate reports for presentation to customers and management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with MATLAB is preferred.
- Ability to assemble and troubleshoot electromechanical devices is preferred.
