About the role#
As an Internal Communications Intern at MKS Inc., you will join our team in Andover, Massachusetts, for a six-month term from January 2027 to June 2027. You will report to the Associate Manager of Communications and gain hands-on experience in strategy and content creation. This full-time, on-site position focuses on shaping how employees connect with our mission and each other.
What you'll do#
- Support internal communications for global initiatives.
- Draft content for the intranet, digital signage, executive videos, and memos.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand employee needs and organizational priorities.
- Maintain and improve internal communication channels.
- Contribute ideas to influence company culture and the employee experience.
- Lead a project focused on measuring the effectiveness of current communication channels.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Communications, English, Literature, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Marketing, or Human Resources.
- A strong interest in writing and storytelling.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with or interest in SharePoint and digital communication tools.
- Courage to bring new ideas to the table.

- Location: Andover, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to June).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days for those working at least 20 hours per week.
