About the role#
As a Continual Improvement Intern, you will work with the Continual Improvement Manager to support various departments including Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality. You will collaborate with internal teams, sales, customers, and executive leadership to improve processes and efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Apply analytical tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, A3, 8D, and Value Stream mapping.
- Conduct process benchmarking and root cause analysis.
- Perform data analytics to support decision making.
- Help create a visual factory environment.
- Prepare and interpret charts and graphs for process capabilities.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SAP.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and interpret graphs.
- Knowledge of GMPs, testing methods, and food safety.
- Clear written and oral communication skills for interacting with site leadership and colleagues.

- Location: Rock Hill, South Carolina.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued biweekly for those working at least 20 hours per week.
