About the role#
As a Product Environmental Intern at MKS Inc., you will work with the Global Product Compliance team. You will report to the Principal Product Compliance Engineer. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Broomfield, Colorado, for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate products to ensure they meet international environmental regulations.
- Learn global standards through training and communication with third-party suppliers.
- Review bills of materials to check the compliance of articles.
- Fulfill customer requests for product declarations and environmental attestations.
- Manage the process of requesting and receiving information from suppliers.
- Draft compliance documents and route them for signatures.
- Update internal customers on evaluation timelines and completed tasks.
What you'll need#
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with EU RoHS, EU REACH, and PFASK.
- Ability to design SharePoint pages.
- Comfort presenting information to an audience.
- A desire to learn quickly and execute tasks.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Agile, and SAP is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Broomfield, CO.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Interns working at least 20 hours per week receive 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 days of accrued vacation.
