About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Power Delivery team in Overland Park. This is a full-time, on-site role. You will assist with the design of projects focused on electric generation, transmission, and distribution.
What you'll do#
- Work on a variety of real-world projects to gain diverse experience.
- Learn and use industry-specific design software.
- Collaborate directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
- Learn the full design process from start to finish.
- Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Strong time management, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.
- A desire to work in a team-oriented culture.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
