About the role#
MKEC Engineering is hiring Civil Engineering Interns for our Oklahoma City office. You will join our team to work on projects across land development, public works, and transportation. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will gain hands-on experience by contributing to real-world assignments.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
- Learn the full design process from start to finish.
- Use industry-specific design software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Assist project teams in meeting client expectations and project schedules.
- Gain experience on diverse projects including residential and commercial developments, schools, healthcare facilities, roadways, and bridges.
What you'll need#
- You must be actively pursuing an engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience or awareness of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microstation is preferred.
- You should have excellent time management, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
- We look for a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn.
- You must have a strong interest in working within a team-oriented culture.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
