About the role#
MKEC Engineering is seeking an Architectural Engineering Intern to join our team in Wichita. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will contribute to the design of various projects and gain experience across our architectural service area.
What you'll do#
- Work on real-world projects such as schools, hospitals, churches, hotels, and office buildings.
- Collaborate directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
- Learn the full design process from start to finish.
- Use industry-specific design software.
- Assist the project team in meeting schedules and client expectations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- You have experience with Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to or awareness of AutoCAD or Revit is preferred.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong time management abilities.
- You have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to learn.
- You have a desire to work in a team-oriented culture.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
