About the role#
Barge Design Solutions is hiring an Electrical Engineering intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Nashville, Tennessee. You will work with our engineering teams to support project deliverables and contribute to various design tasks.
What you'll do#
- Work on electrical designs for commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities.
- Assist with electrical design for water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Develop site lighting designs and perform lighting photometric design.
- Prepare design plans and specifications for construction projects.
- Create 3D drafts using REVIT.
- Help engineers complete project deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members on new ideas and innovations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- You must be at least 18 years old.

- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
