About the role#
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineering intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Columbia, South Carolina office. You will work on-site to gain practical experience while learning from our engineering team.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on new ideas and innovations.
- Support engineers in the completion of project deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents.
- Gain experience with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
Location & details#
- Location: Columbia, South Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
