About the role#
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineering intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based in Birmingham, Alabama. You will work on-site and learn from mentors while gaining experience in the engineering field.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers with the completion of project deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new ideas and innovations.
- Prepare construction documents.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation for design tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.

- Location: Birmingham, Alabama.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Modality: On-site.
