About the role#
The Dewey Plant is looking for a Chemical Engineering Intern to join our manufacturing team for the summer. You will work on hands-on projects focused on continuous improvement and process development. You will be paired with a management sponsor for mentorship while you work to improve quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness at the facility.
What you'll do#
- Manage assigned internship projects using project management skills.
- Analyze problems and implement solutions using critical thinking and focused improvement methods.
- Identify unique ways to make quality improvements and cost reductions.
- Prepare diagrams, charts, and tables to reflect findings and recommendations.
- Participate in the Safety Process and Program in the plant.
What you'll need#
- Rising Junior or Senior working toward a BS degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work full-time from late May until early August.
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

- Location: South Carolina, United States.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
