About the role#
The Analytical Laboratory Technician Intern supports the laboratory team by conducting routine testing and analysis. This is a 12-month internship starting in Fall 2026. You will work 12 to 20 hours per week during the school year and full-time during breaks and the summer.
What you'll do#
- Perform physical and chemical analysis of capsule samples.
- Conduct routine laboratory tasks with a focus on safety and precision.
- Operate, maintain, and set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Gather, compile, and report testing data using spreadsheets.
- Order necessary materials and equipment to support ongoing lab tests.
- Follow established procedures and suggest improvements for efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student in Chemistry, Biology, Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a lab setting or completion of a lab safety course.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
