About the role#
We are hiring an R&D Lab Intern to join our team in Jessup, Maryland. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role. You will work directly with our Lab Manager and engineers to refine our testing processes and support ongoing innovation projects.
What you'll do#
- Improve existing test processes and workflows through process mapping.
- Support lab automation projects, specifically regarding process control and data analysis.
- Lead or assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain lab organization through 5S methodology.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with electro-mechanical control systems.
- Prior experience with lab testing processes, including measurement techniques and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the AutoCAD software family.
- A preference for hands-on project work.
- Knowledge of Lean tools is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Jessup, Maryland, USA.
- Pay: $22 to $28 per hour, plus overtime pay where applicable by law.
