About the role#
This internship with the Fleet Technologies Group focuses on supporting and improving enterprise applications like Bus Time, Bus Trek, Yard Trek, and Transit Signal Priority. You will work on projects that enhance fleet operations, customer communications, and depot efficiency. This is an on-site position based in New York City for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Design new features, reports, and analytical tools.
- Write, test, and deploy code for new features or software fixes.
- Resolve bugs and edge-case issues within existing codebases.
- Draft and update technical documentation for workflows and fixes.
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of server environments and containers on AWS.
- Extract data through ad hoc collection or automated tools.
- Analyze data to identify performance trends and provide operational insights.
- Present your findings and suggest actionable recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a graduate program with at least a 2.8 GPA.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.
- Submission of your academic transcript.
