About the role#
Tyler Technologies is hiring Software Development Interns for the Summer 2027 term. You will join our team to gain experience with the day-to-day practices of software development. As an intern, you will work on actual projects within our live software, participate in team meetings, and receive guidance from a Product Manager. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Write or modify software modules to meet project specifications.
- Test and review code to ensure program integrity.
- Create and update system documentation.
- Research new technologies and suggest ways to incorporate them into software designs.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with languages such as SQL, VB/VB.NET, C++/C#, or ASP/ASP.NET.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to work well within a development team on technical and business tasks.
- The ability to conduct independent research and present your findings.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Yarmouth, Falmouth, or Orono, Maine.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
