About the role#
Metromont is hiring a Quality Control Intern for our San Marcos facility. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling term. You will train across various plant environments, field operations, and project management tasks to build an understanding of our manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Learn the full scope of plant operations to understand how we manufacture precast concrete.
- Gain hands-on exposure to Steel Fab, Material Handling, Quality Control, Carpentry Shop, and Dry/Wet Finishing.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
- Stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and perform tasks requiring bending or repetitive motion.
- Frequently climb up to 15 feet above ground using stairs.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, high-visibility vests, hard hats, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection when working in the plant.
