About the role#
This position supports the administrative assistant for the Department of Nursing. You will work six hours a week during the 2026-27 academic year. Note that this role is not for nursing students.
What you'll do#
- Edit and create documents using Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Coordinate communications for prospective and accepted students.
- Extract data from survey software like Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms.
- Create social media posts in Canva.
- Update the nursing website.
- Maintain department bulletin boards and display cases.
- Keep the nursing conference room clean and organized.
- Run errands on campus and assist faculty with various requests.
What you'll need#
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Canva.
- Experience with social media platforms.
- Ability to maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- General office experience is a plus.

- Compensation: $8.00 per hour.
