About the role#
This position supports faculty research agendas, including grant applications, journal articles, and specific research projects. You will work under the supervision of a lead faculty member to assist with the research process. This role provides professional training and experience within your field of study.
What you'll do#
- Complete literature reviews and create annotated bibliographies.
- Conduct evidence-based searches on assigned topics.
- Assist faculty with lab activities, including scheduling and distribution.
- Proofread and edit research documents for accuracy.
- Help with data collection, entry, and the consent process.
- Manage document organization and email communication.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an OTD graduate level degree program.
- An overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Strong professional writing, editorial, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve problems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Location & details#
- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Approximately 7 hours per week, with a maximum of 15 hours possible with prior authorization.
- Status: Paid, part-time position.
