About the role#
The Radiologic Technologist LMRT Externship Coordinator reports to the Campus President. You will manage the externship program by recruiting and developing sites for student assignments. This role involves marketing programs to the medical community to ensure enough sites are available for students. You will also monitor compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations.
What you'll do#
- Recruit and monitor externship sites.
- Market programs throughout the medical community.
- Ensure 40% of externs are hired by their site.
- Maintain student records and affiliation agreements.
- Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and organizations.
- Assist students with career development, resume preparation, and interviewing.
- Counsel students who miss scheduled externships.
- Arrange and conduct student orientations.
- Perform weekly site visits.
- Track student progress and exit documentation.
- Maintain data in CampusVue and monitor timesheets.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in campus events.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- ARRT certification.
- LMRT certification.
