About the role#
This position supports the MUS4112Y/MUS7407H Music & Health-Clinical Performance/Research Practicum course. You will help students apply classroom learning to clinical populations in settings such as hospitals, community centres, senior residences, and research facilities. The appointment runs from September 8, 2026, to April 30, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Supervise and mentor students during clinical placements.
- Facilitate small group discussions and manage course assignments.
- Grade written work and provide feedback to students.
- Video-tape clinical sessions to help students process their therapeutic skills.
- Maintain course records and manage email communications for the group.
What you'll need#
- A graduate degree in music therapy or an equivalent background.
- A PhD in Music and Health Sciences or an equivalent background.
- Knowledge of clinical practicum placements.

- This role is located in Toronto, Ontario, at the University of Toronto St. George campus.
- The position requires on-site attendance.
- This is a paid, full-time appointment for the fall and winter terms.
