About the role#
The Department of Public and Community Health is looking for a student worker to join the team. You will support students, faculty, and staff while maintaining a professional and helpful environment. What you'll do#
- Assist students, faculty, and staff with daily needs in the department.
- Handle research tasks and help prepare for department events.
- Provide occasional assistance with social media platforms.
- Use active listening and interpersonal skills to interact with the university community.
- Maintain a professional attitude and complete assigned tasks on time.
What you'll need#
- Eligibility for the Federal Work Study Program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with health promotion equipment.
- Enrollment in a Public Health or Health Administration major.
