This is a full-time, paid position supporting students in the post-acceptance stage of their academic journey. You will act as either an Academic Advisor or a New Enrollment Specialist, with your specific role determined by your skills and background. This position involves direct student interaction to ensure they are prepared for their academic career.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to students and university staff via phone and email.
- Resolve complex student issues by applying university policies and coordinating with support offices.
- Answer detailed questions regarding university procedures.
- Meet or exceed departmental key performance indicators.
- Implement feedback from management to improve service efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Some college experience and prior work in customer service or sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
- A reliable, wired broadband internet connection.
- A bachelor's degree and previous experience in a contact center are preferred.
- Ability to work evening shifts (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST), rotating Saturdays, and occasional overtime.
Location & details#
- This role is remote and full-time.
- Compensation is $17.50 per hour.
- The schedule requires availability for first or second shifts, including evenings and rotating Saturdays.
