Enrollment Call Center Agent- Pre-Acceptance Student Stage

About the role#

Liberty University Online is seeking Enrollment Call Center Agents to join the enrollment team. This role involves guiding prospective students through the enrollment process for undergraduate and graduate programs. Successful candidates will be considered for both Admissions Consultant and Admissions Counselor positions, with roles matched based on individual skills and experience.

What you'll do#

• Convert prospective students into qualified applicants for online programs.
• Manage a high volume of outbound calls and incoming inquiries.
• Counsel students on program fit, admissions requirements, financial aid processes, and transfer guidelines.
• Promote the features and benefits of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.
• Utilize information management systems to record student data and interactions.
• Collaborate with support offices to address student concerns and improve the enrollment experience.
• Implement feedback from management to meet departmental performance goals.
• Identify new and innovative ways to enhance recruitment and student services.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma required; customer service or sales experience is preferred. A bachelor's degree and prior contact center experience are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Ability to work first or second shifts, rotating Saturdays, and occasional overtime. Note: After 8-10 weeks of training, an 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM shift is required.
• Ability to sit for extended periods for deskwork, as well as stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
• A reliable, wired broadband internet connection (satellite-based providers are not compatible).

• This is a full-time, paid position based in the United States.

• Starting pay rate: $17.50 per hour.
