About the role#
The School of Education at Liberty University is hiring student workers to assist with daily operations. This is a paid, part-time position that offers experience in an academic office setting. We are looking for students who can support faculty and staff with administrative and education-related tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support School of Education operations through various office duties.
- Assist faculty and staff with special projects.
- Perform research tasks for department members.
- Help with grading assignments.
What you'll need#
- Eligibility for the Federal Work-Study Program.
- Prior administrative experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and research ability.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Political Science, and History.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in Lynchburg, Virginia.
- The position is part-time, with an expected 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Available shifts are Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 4 pm.
- This is a rolling term position.
