About the role#
This position supports Human Anatomy instructors within the cadaver lab environment. Students will assist with dissections, laboratory preparation, and research initiatives while ensuring a safe workspace. This role is paid at $9.50 per hour for the 2026-27 academic year.
What you'll do#
- Assist instructors with cadaver dissections (30% of time).
- Manage post-lab cleanup procedures (30% of time).
- Engage in research duties (20% of time).
- Prepare and set up the laboratory, including equipment, software, and solutions (10% of time).
- Help instructors maintain a safe work environment (10% of time).
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, the cadaver-based anatomy course at the Messiah PT program.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Self-motivation and basic computer knowledge.
- Training will be provided.
