About the role#
This position supports Human Anatomy instructors within the cadaver lab environment. Students will assist with dissections, laboratory preparation, and research projects while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. This role is paid and takes place during the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist instructors with cadaver dissections (30% of time).
- Manage post-lab cleanup duties (30% of time).
- Participate in research activities (20% of time).
- Prepare the laboratory space, including setting up equipment, software, and necessary solutions (10% of time).
- Help instructors maintain a safe work environment (10% of time).
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, the cadaver-based anatomy course at the Messiah PT program.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team.
- Self-motivation and basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work in a cadaver lab environment.
- Willingness to wear scrubs as required by the dress code.
- Training will be provided to all selected students.
