About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term, based on-site in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec. You will join teams working on analog, digital, or power electronic systems. You will be closely shadowed by a mentor and will attend project status meetings to gain insight into the space industry.
What you'll do#
- Participate in PCB design activities, including schematic development, bill of material management, and circuit analysis.
- Develop test procedures and track mass, performance, and power budgets.
- Support laboratory activities like prototyping, characterization, and integration testing.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives, such as tool and business process development.
- Support test plan development and automation through scripting and programming.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least five semesters toward a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven academic performance.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Experience with one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, C/C++, PSPICE, or Siemens Mentor Graphics.
- Practical experience in PCB design and testing electronics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong initiative and a desire to learn.
- Ability to obtain and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program.
