About the role#
We are looking for an Engineering Student to join our EGSE and Test Data Processing team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. This is a paid, full-time position where you will handle tasks similar to a new graduate, with responsibilities scaled to your current experience and academic progress.
What you'll do#
- Create and modify data processing scripts to automate pass/fail criteria and report generation for satellite payloads.
- Develop and integrate automation solutions to support the high-volume production of flight hardware.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software.
- Participate in the integration, testing, and deployment of test data processing systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues within a software production environment.
- Prepare necessary documentation.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least 5 sessions of an Engineering degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Python software development.
- Ability to work with existing code bases and frameworks.
- Knowledge of electronics and associated test equipment.
- Experience working with Excel.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with English and French preferred.
- A proactive, result-oriented, and multidisciplinary approach.
- Demonstrated academic performance.
- Experience with radiofrequency (RF) measurements or electronics lab equipment is an asset.
- Ability to pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program.
