About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the engineering team in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to work on the design, integration, and commissioning of specialized electronic test equipment. This equipment supports the testing of mixed signal electronic products used in satellites and other space-based systems. You will work alongside PCB designers, FPGA specialists, and software and RF engineers to validate flight hardware.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with the product design team to develop test architectures and methods.
- Assist in the design of specialized PCB assemblies for custom test equipment.
- Review data and debug both test equipment and flight hardware with technicians and designers.
- Produce technical drawings, reports, and other project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 5 sessions of an Electrical or Computer Engineering degree.
- Experience with PCB design and laboratory instrumentation, specifically oscilloscopes.
- Understanding of electronic circuits and communication protocols.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and French.
- A proactive and result-oriented approach to teamwork.
- Familiarity with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, or arbitrary waveform generators is an asset.
