About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term based in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. You will join the Systems Engineering team to work on satellite architecture and payload projects. You will work within a project environment, managing schedules and budgets under the supervision of an experienced engineer. This role treats you similar to a new graduate, with tasks assigned based on your current level of schooling and experience.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the design of satellite architecture or subsystems for telecommunications and Earth observation systems.
- Develop tools and computer models to analyze the performance of embedded systems.
- Assist with requirements definition, project implementation, test phases, and research and development activities.
- Prepare performance reports and presentations for customers.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering and have completed three years of study.
- Experience modeling electrical or RF circuits and subsystems using Matlab, Simulink, or Pathwave (SystemVue).
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
- A strong academic record with a GPA above 3.0/4.0.
- Experience with Python, C, or C++ is an asset.
- A sense of initiative, resourcefulness, and a willingness to learn.

- Location: Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months, with a possibility of 8 months).
- Security: You must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
