About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering student to join our Structural Analysis department in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue for the Winter 2027 term. You will work under the supervision of a senior analyst and take on responsibilities similar to a new graduate. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Perform structural analyses of space antennas and electronic equipment using the finite element method.
- Conduct static, dynamic, and thermoelastic analyses.
- Calculate component safety margins using internal or commercial software.
- Size components, identify potential issues, and suggest design modifications.
- Generate test procedures and structural analysis reports to demonstrate subsystem compliance.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credits in a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering program before the start date.
- A GPA above 3.2 / 4.0.
- Initiative and a proactive approach to your work.
- A completed course in finite element analysis.
- Knowledge of Nx software.
- Bilingual proficiency.
- Ability to pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program.
