About the role#
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Physical Medicine Tech in Rochester, Minnesota. It is specifically for MSHS PT students. You will work under the direction of physicians and therapists to support patient care and clinical operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide and assist with physical medicine interventions.
- Monitor patients throughout their treatment sessions.
- Report any changes in patient status or concerns to the care team.
- Keep the work environment clean and safe.
- Manage equipment and supply orders.
- Complete administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with electronic equipment, including computers, telephones, and video cameras.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse patient population.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Preference is given to candidates with additional education or experience in human services.
