About the role#
As a Financial Planning Intern, you will support our team in servicing high net worth clients. You will gain hands-on experience in advisory, communication, and business development by assisting with client onboarding, meeting preparation, and the creation of financial plans. This role offers the chance to observe how advisors build relationships and solve client challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support client onboarding by preparing and processing paperwork.
- Assist in scheduling meetings and creating materials to explain financial concepts.
- Participate in meeting follow-up tasks including research, documentation, and solution development.
- Use financial planning and CRM software to assist with data management and plan development.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and client service initiatives.
- Support account maintenance and money movement processes.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a bachelor or master degree with an expected graduation date within 12 months of the start of the internship.
- You have demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- You have an interest in pursuing a client-facing advisory career.
- You have strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
