About the role#
This co-op position is based within the Professional Practices Chief of Staff team in Audit and Advisory Services. You will support leadership reporting, performance insights, executive communications, and strategic initiatives. This role offers exposure to how senior leaders drive organizational priorities and performance.
What you'll do#
- Support the preparation of executive presentations, leadership updates, briefing materials, and strategic communications.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting materials.
- Coordinate strategic initiatives and transformation projects by tracking milestones, documenting progress, and supporting project governance.
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, executive summaries, and follow-up actions for leadership forums and cross-functional working groups.
- Track priorities, action items, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and process improvement recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information, drive project outcomes, and support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and team effectiveness through automation, AI-enabled solutions, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct research on industry trends, operational processes, and organizational effectiveness.
- Contribute to special projects and emerging priorities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and draw insights from data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A curious, self-motivated, and proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Interest in or experience with internal audit, risk management, governance, strategy, consulting, or financial services.
- Experience preparing presentations, analyzing data, or coordinating projects.
- Interest in executive communications, storytelling with data, performance reporting, Power BI, automation, or GenAI tools.
