About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting the Agency Force and field team members at Farm Bureau Financial Services. You will learn how the organization assists field leadership while gaining exposure to sales operations. The program follows an 80/10/10 model where most of your time is spent on project-based assignments, while the remainder is dedicated to networking across the company and participating in shared internship experiences.
What you'll do#
- Support sales and distribution programs.
- Maintain and manage team SharePoint sites.
- Help prepare for meetings and participate in the annual Agent Cares and Concerns meetings.
- Assist with program administration and reporting.
- Perform project-based work to contribute to team goals.
What you'll need#
- Current college student, preferably with Junior or Senior status.
- Interest in supporting sales leadership and a desire to help others.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- You must work on-site at our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
