About the role#
Join our eBusiness Support team as an eBusiness Help Desk Analyst during the annual return season. This is a temporary, full-time co-op role based in Edmonton. You will provide front-line support to external users of WCB systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and help promote our online services.
What you'll do#
- Provide responsive telephone support to external users.
- Assist users with e-business web and IVR systems, ranging from basic navigation to technical troubleshooting.
- Use our knowledgebase to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Manage security tasks such as userID, password, and access administration.
- Educate users on the features and benefits of our online services.
- Document and track all customer support inquiries.
- Answer general business questions regarding customer WCB accounts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering program.
- Outstanding listening and communication skills to respond with clarity and professionalism.
- A strong ability to interpret problems for both novice and experienced users.
- Proven ability to work with computer technology and learn new systems quickly.
- A positive, customer-focused approach.
- Previous experience in a help desk environment is helpful but not required.
