About the role#
As a Production Assembly Intern in the HVAC area, you will support daily manufacturing operations. You will gain hands-on experience in a production environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and assisting with assembly processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with HVAC product assembly processes while following work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Support production teams by monitoring workflow, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting process improvements.
- Participate in problem-solving activities related to assembly issues, defects, and process deviations.
- Maintain organized workstations using 5S principles and support the standardization of assembly procedures.
- Track production output and assist in reporting on performance metrics including throughput, downtime, and quality.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- You have a proactive, hands-on, and team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- You have an interest in manufacturing, production operations, or mechanical systems.
- You possess intermediate Microsoft Office skills and advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- You are able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment that includes physical and environmental demands.
