About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will work on operational analysis and help develop design plans. You will support the evaluation of complex system architectures and communicate status updates to both internal and external customers.
What you'll do#
- Analyze system requirements from users and end systems.
- Create concept of operations and implementation plans.
- Write test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Run tests and document the results.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware troubleshooting to solve problems.
- Present design activity plans to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in systems architecture, performance modeling, integration, or project management.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Forest, Virginia.
- The position is on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling start date.
- The pay range for this position in Virginia is $22.50 to $34.40 per hour.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
