About the role#
As a TechStop IT Help Desk intern, you will join the End User Support team. You will provide in-person technical support to employees in a walk-up environment. This role focuses on helping users with their devices and software while managing work orders efficiently. You will work between 15 and 40 hours per week based on department needs.
What you'll do#
- Provide on-site support for IT issues, requests, and hardware such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Troubleshoot problems with applications, operating systems, network connectivity, and infrastructure.
- Partner with other support teams by sharing knowledge and technical assistance.
- Follow defined processes for Incident Management and Request Tickets.
- Write knowledge articles for business stakeholders and support staff.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in at least six college-level credit hours (100 level or above).
- Progress toward a degree or certificate from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with Windows, Macintosh, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Android and iOS mobile devices.
- Strong background in client support with the ability to assist people of varying technical skill levels.
- Clear oral and written communication skills and a grasp of documentation practices.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

- Work Modality: This position is hybrid and on-site. Employees must live and work in Arizona.
- Employment Status: This is a paid, full-time internship.
