About the role#
As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will work alongside cybersecurity, IT, and audit professionals. You will help ensure that applications, processes, and controls meet organizational and regulatory standards. This internship provides an opportunity to gain real-world experience supporting technology assurance activities that keep systems secure, reliable, and compliant.
What you'll do#
- Partner with cybersecurity and IT teams to gather and organize information for security reviews and audits.
- Help evaluate applications and technology processes to ensure they align with security and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with team members across different business areas to improve processes and strengthen cybersecurity assurance.
- Analyze data and research findings to summarize results through reports or presentations.
- Contribute to projects that improve visibility, accountability, and cybersecurity readiness.
- Perform simple to intermediate analysis and designs, including assisting in the preparation of business plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate efforts with other disciplines and departments to achieve project goals.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- An interest in cybersecurity governance, compliance, audit, risk management, or application security.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and learn how business applications operate.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional business partners.
- A 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred.

- This is a paid, full-time summer internship lasting 10 weeks.
- The role is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
- This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring approximately 40% of time spent in-person at an office location.
