About the role#
Join a team that protects the electric grid. As a Cybersecurity Intern at ATC, you will support our cybersecurity program and gain hands-on experience defending critical infrastructure. You will work with a team that safeguards technology systems to ensure the reliable operation of our electric transmission network.
What you'll do#
- Learn how we identify and respond to cyber threats through phishing and malware detection programs.
- Assist in applying cybersecurity best practices across our systems and business activities.
- Gain exposure to cybersecurity tools and platforms including SIEM, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, malware analysis tools, endpoint protection solutions, and vulnerability management systems.
What you'll need#
- You are currently an associate or bachelor degree student in Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related program.
- You are curious, motivated, and ready to contribute to the protection of critical infrastructure.
- You have an interest in a meaningful internship experience.
