About the role#
As a Human Resources Student in Phoenix, you will partner with employees, managers, and HR professionals. You will support talent initiatives that build high-performing teams across the district.
What you'll do#
- Assist with research and general administrative support.
- Coordinate and administer onboarding, event planning, and training preparation.
- Update and maintain accurate databases.
- Build and maintain customer-focused relationships.
- Provide administrative support for employee questions, processes, and systems.
- Maintain and prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports.
- Support employees and the HRPD team using the HRIS system and company communications.
- Model the solution provider and profitability culture.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in human resources, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic networking skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A valid Driver License.
- Authorization to work in the United States.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
- Work Modality: On-site, full-time.
- This position is paid.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test.
