About the role#
This 10-week summer internship at Wilmington Trust offers exposure to the wealth management industry. You will work in Radnor, Pennsylvania, alongside senior client-facing advisors and professionals holding CFP, CFA, and legal designations. The program focuses on professional development through apprentice-style learning, weekly roundtable discussions on capital markets and investments, and case studies. You may receive priority consideration for full-time opportunities or the management development program upon successful completion of the internship.
What you'll do#
- Complete duties of an entry-level professional nature within your assigned area.
- Adhere to internal policies and external regulations.
- Identify and escalate risk-related issues to management.
- Design and maintain internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the bank brand.
- Maintain internal control standards and support audit requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Economics.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated computer and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented approach to tasks.
